Subprogram 6: e-Learning for Prospective Technology

Objectives

1. Construct the nanotechnology and biomedical industry knowledge network.

• Provide the dynamic contents to prospective technology industries, including introduction, market information, technology application, and intellectual laws.
• Provide the most advanced cutting-edge information.
• Lead the construction and operation of forums and consultation mechanisms by prospective technology experts. Promote the development of the prospective technology to professional communities. Collect and organize the opinions from different fields and serve as the reference for making industry policies.
• Cooperate with more companies, and publicize the site to common users
• Design a complete e-News system to meet user needs

2. Construct a nanotechnology and biomedical industry-learning network.

• Continue to develop new online courses for nanotechnology and biomedical technology
• Publicize the general/introductory courses for nanotechnology and biomedical technology, to increase people’s awareness of those cutting-edge technologies
• Train professionals with cutting-edge technologies
• Work with locals to promote nanotechnology and biomedical technology
• Conduct a survey of users who took online courses about nanotechnology and biomedical technology.
